All of our baskets are artisanally handcrafted in Nepal from felted wool: a natural renewable material easy to maintain.

Handmade kids wool felt storage baskets from Nepal

All our storage solutions for kids are the result of fair-trade artisanal craftsmanship. With infinite patience, the artisans in our Kathmandu workshops transform wool into felt, which they then use to shape each MUSKHANE creation. The wool is carded and then felted by hand or foot, becoming a material that is both dense and light, generous and warm. In the making of our baskets, wool felt is sometimes combined with other natural materials such as hemp or nettle fibre to create unique and durable storage solutions.
