A handmade felt light, crafted in Nepal
Our range of lights are handmade in Nepal, in the Kathmandu valley where our workshops are located. They are the result of hand felting sheep's wool, an age-old process, long and meticulous, of which Nepalese craftsmen have the secret.
MUSKHANE lamps are made of pure felted sheep's wool, a natural material with a generous density and a comforting softness. First carded, then milled, then felted, the wool is transformed into a resistant material, with multiple properties, allowing to shape the MUSKHANE lampshades and ceiling lamps.

Our line of felted wool lighting fixtures includes ceiling lamps, but also individual shades to create the perfect light for your home. They are available in several models, sizes and colours to enhance all styles with a cosy touch and light up the house with singularity throughout the seasons. Organic and minimalist, they are a tribute to simplicity and authenticity.
To be hung alone, in a duo or in a trio, our natural felt lighting solutions dress up any space, adding a handcrafted soul appreciated by all members of the family. In the dining room, play the accumulation card by mixing dimensions and colours to bring a playful and joyful touch to the interior decoration. On each side of the bed in the bedroom, a natural MUSKHANE ceiling light acts as a soothing bedside lamp. To transform your home into a peaceful refuge, opt for a softly lit accent light, adapted to each space. To illuminate a reading corner or the dining room table, the lounge area or one side of the bed, a hanging lamp will be particularly suitable.
Round, curved, flat, bell-shaped, reversible or perforated, MUSKHANE pendant lights can be adapted to your desires and needs. Ready to install, our round felt suspension is delivered with a coppered metal frame and an electrical system. Our lampshades can be transformed into a hanging lamp or a hand lamp thanks to an appropriate electrical system, available in our online shop.
To further personalise your MUSKHANE boiled wool lamp, we also offer electric cables covered by cotton, linen or silk effect, to give a new dimension to your lighting. All you have to do is assemble them with a porcelain rosette and an lampholder E27 on which to fix your bulb, led or low consumption.
